Not only can healing be a fun, mind-blowing event, but it can also accompany a deep moving of the Father’s love. Knowing that the God of the Universe desires to heal you, personally, in a one-on-one encounter, can bring you to your knees and tears to your eyes. God is so faithful, and He’s always good.
This is another healing testimony from the recent Big Tent Event, and it is saturated in worship. This woman’s response to the healing love and power of God serves as a reminder to keep our eyes on Jesus, and to allow His presence to come and impact our hearts every day.
Healing is just one of the many ways we can experience the supernatural reality of our good, good God. We saw miracle after miracle during our recent Big Tent Event in Arizona, and this is one of the healing testimonies we filmed. As you listen, get excited about the faithfulness of God, and remind yourself of this promise:
“And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.” Mark 16:17-18
I love the way God leads us as extensions of His love to those around us. If we are attuned to His still small voice, He’ll reveal His heart as we’ve never seen. We are called to illuminate the darkness, being carriers of healing and wholeness.
While exploring XPmedia today, I found this testimony given by Francisco Arboleda, one of XP’s webpastors. It’s a great testimony of a simple act – leaning on the leading of the Holy Spirit and allowing ourselves to be moved with compassion! Click below and check it out!
In Matthew 17, Jesus is in Capernaum with His disciples, talking about taxes with Peter. Jesus makes a comment about sons (children) being exempt from paying taxes, but proceeds to have Peter retrieve a coin from the mouth of a fish to avoid offending the government. The coin is worth enough to cover both of their tax payments. Talk about supernatural, how many times have you found a coin in the mouth of a fish?
When Jesus commissioned His disciples, 2 by 2, He instructed them to have almost no means of provision, and that as they walked into each city, they’d be taken care of. And they were; everywhere they went, a local would house them and feed them.
God works and provides in creative – sometimes bizarre! – ways. He wants us to be up for an adventure with Him, drawing on His presence and stepping into deeper relationship as we go. Take this as a confirmation: He’s got you covered! Something I keep coming back to in the season I’m in is: Amy, you’ll have everything you need, exactly when you need it! So just enjoy the ride! Don’t be afraid to step into the [seemingly] impossible, because that’s where God has new levels of intimacy and deeper growth waiting just for you – and the best adventures of all!
